BETA :: Notes from a Small Island 06/07

Yes, I KNOW I've used this graphic to death in the last couple of hours but HEY BUDGET LET'S DO IT AGAIN.

Most used Graphic EU.

There's an inherent problem with noticing something for the first time and not being sure it is correct, so even though I'm using this now I'm fully prepared to stand up and be proved wrong. It *appears*, checking my Beta Garrison, that there is an advantage to having a profession on your character and then duplicating that inside with a second building devoted to it. What of course I now need to do is try and duplicate this with a Skill I don't have... and to see if the game picks up when I found my garrison that I'm using something other than Alchemy and if the advantage is passed on. This would be the moment where it would be great to have a developer write a Blog about this so we could all be better informed.

Yeah, I know. If they're writing blogs, they can't develop content ^^

Needless to say, this is the first time I've been able to spend a couple of hours at the Beta in a quiet period to study all this, and now I suspect I'm just stuck here... ^^ The temple of Karabor is Hotel California and I claim my small bag of gold :D

You can LUA any time you like, BUT YOU CAN NEVER LEAVE...

I've finally made it to the Swamp in the Beta. There are people there you will know, and I'm not going to spoil who for you because actually, it is pretty cool (or at least I think so) and I have continued to kill MANY RARES because they do seem to be lying around just about everywhere.

It was a Very Big Dog, was a GIGANTIC Dooooog....

However, perhaps the most significant part of yesterday was that I finally shifted my slow arse past 90:

Someone asked me how long it took, and I frankly have no idea, but as we're still capped at 92 I should be good for getting there before they throw new content at us. I hope ^^ I also hope to have some new pictures to throw at you this week that aren't just Garrisons related :D
